The United States, Germany and other NATO allies have taken a major step in boosting the war effort in Ukraine. They are sending their top-level battle tanks to help fight the Russians. Most lawmakers support the move, though some say NATO allies need to do more. About 80 tanks from Germany and other NATO allies will arrive mid-Spring. It comes after months of delay. Senator Lindsey Graham, who sits on the Armed Services Committee, praised the move. US Defense officials say it may be months before American tanks reach the battlefield. They will be bought from private contractors and not sent from existing stockpiles. Still, Senator John Kennedy says they are critical. But some lawmakers say they are frustrated because allies continue to argue over the amount of weapons and the cost. Senator Rick Scott says all NATO countries need to get onboard. Capitol Hill Correspondent, Erik Rosales reports.
