My favorite part of all these tests, is how upset people get over them. If their phone of choice loses (especially samsung owners of which I am one s23 ultra) the tests are rigged. The only folks who don't seem to care are Pixel people cause they never win, always get the smoothest android experience, the best AI features and pay less. These tests are really pointless for Apple people because using a XS max is just as smooth on ios as a current 14 pro max (own them both and day to day things can't tell a difference). A better test would be who has the best apps, that's what your phone does anyways, open and run apps.

All in all these benchmarks are just for your satisfaction.
Both the 8 gen 2 and a16 bionic chip are very efficient and are very smooth with no lags with better heat management so no issues with the processors although the results may vary on different devices having same processor ( they do actually).

A little mistake at 9:27, 8 GEN 2 F.G. should be at 2nd place with 776.77 points

Very interesting results. I think Apple will be forced to improve their chips or they will fall behind their snapdragon equivalents in the future. I'm running the Pixel 6 with the Tensor G1, which is by all means much slower than all the flagship chipsets, but still gives a really smooth software experience.

I think it would be interesting to also include last years chip in the comparison to see just how far we’ve come

if you used S23 Ultra instead of regular S23, you should also have chosen 14 Pro Max instead of just the 14 Pro. Bigger battery, better heat management, better performance.

none of the adobe apps are optimized for the android except for the lightroom, that's why, otherwise 8gen2 for galaxy is taking a minute less than a16 bionic in kinemaster pro

It’s so weird seeing videos where Apple wins. People say things like “use different apps, results will be different”, “Samsung is really doing well this year!”, or something unrelated to the video entirely, like bezels or something. Everyone just wants to see Samsung win in the department that matters the most. Good luck to Samsung and other Android companies.

I can't remember who did a video rendering between S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro Max with Adobe Rush and iPhone came out faster but when using another video software, the S23 Ultra finish it faster. So there's a possibility that it might not be the hardware but the optimization.

Great video!
At 9:20 there’s an interchange between the scores of galaxy and tensor 2.

yes, i believe that the arrival of Samsung s23 ultra with snapdragon 8.2 f.g, is a revolutionary start to beat apple's bionic chip.

9:20 - No, you got the Tensor 2 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy mixed up.

I have a question - how good do you think the Tensor 3, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy and the A17 Bionic chipsets will be? Do you think Qualcomm will finally outperform the Bionic chipsets?

Yeah I already knew who was going to be in first, second and places more or less. Samsung and Snapdragon have bridged most of the gap with the bionic chip but they are still not quite there. And my opinion, the Google tensor has a long way to go to catch up with them.

Extremely disappointed that the Dimesnity processor is not included in the test.

why pixel tensor despite having lowest temperature, didn't manage to have highest battery level at the end, what happens with that energy?

Everyone are talking about timing and performance but the optimization of G2 is so good. Also the temperature of Pixel is also the lowest among all in entire video.

Watching all these high end smartphones while rocking a 4+ year old OnePlus 6T on LineageOS 20 (Android 13). While battery life is making me consider upgrading, the fluidity and features of Android 13 plus the custom dev support keeping this phone alive nearly 2 years after EOL is what really keeps me hooked on Android. Sadly the only real vendor that has good dev support on Android these days is the Pixel which compromises a lot on power, but it's a solid choice all things considered especially in this niche use case. Overall I have no problems with either OS as I daily an iPad Pro, but Android is my personal choice when it comes to smartphones.

mixed up the results around 5:06
Tensor is a mid level chip and it's performance is actually very impressive

Ab Minute 9:22 ist ein Fehler aufgetreten, da wurden die Scores vertauscht, der Tensor G2 wäre eigentlich wieder auf dem letzten Platz gekommen

Considering the Apple chip came out in 2022 and the Snapdragon is a 2023 model…Apple is still far ahead
