I have an Asus Vivobook flip and yes it has number pad which is just like the laptop she bought and apparently you can turn that thing off on the top right that had dots by just pressing or touching them, and you can actually disable them in the settings.

The Sony phone Xperia phone it's called TalkBack feature in the accessibility settings for disabled people that can't see it tells you what you're touching on the screen and what you're doing it's just like a subtitled movie but in voice form❤
