For those asking why I didn't mention it, The PS5 OBVIOUSLY comes with an HDMI 2.1 cable since it has an HDMI 2.1 port.

Unfortunately, rare to find someone like you explain like that. You answer my questions with clear or obvious information with pictures. Bless you my guy 👍🙏.

I’m always wondering about the actual feeling difference between HDMI 2.0 vs HDMI 2.1 since there aren’t lots of high frame rate PS5 games right now. And you’ve done the actual test for us. Great video bro! It’s so helpful.

HDMI 2.1b features Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) which is an advancement over the previous Audio Return Channel (ARC).eARC enables the audio to a TV that originates from cable, satellite, streaming or source devices to be sent to an AVR or sound bar through a single HDMI cable. This ensures the simplicity of connectivity and that the original audio can be experienced.

Dont need to buy an 2.1 hdmi cable, the ps5 comes standard with an 2.1 hdmi cable.

Future proofing is like paying extra for rent with out the extra Amenities, but the gym and the pool will be installed a year later.

The Zeskit for $19.99 is a no brainer . I bought it on your recommendation and it worked out perfectly !

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately for some reason my ps5 hdmi cable failed so I have to find a new hdmi 2.1 cable. The problem with that now is apparently hdmi manufacturers can now label hdmi 2.0 cables as 2.1 since the new regulations include 2.0. Linustechtips talked about this in their videos very recently. To make make sure I get the exact cable I’ll just contact PlayStation and have them send over a new cable to me 😂

You saved me from running cables through my wall to test things out as of right now my tv only has a 2.0 hdmi input so switching to the provided hdmi 2.1 cables is pointless.

I feel like this test was pointless. Like you said, the real test would be to test out 120fps games at different resolutions. The 2.1 will allow you to play 120fps at 4k while 2.0 will still allow you to play 4k but only at 60fps. You'd still be able to get 120fps with 2.0 but at 1440p which is still very good. Most TVs however only allow you to display 4k or 1080p. You can utilize the 1440p @ 120fps by getting a 1440p 120Hz gaming monitor with a 2.0 HDMI input. You can get decent ones for like $300

I'm planning to buy a PS5 and I have a lot of doubts at first, because my current TV is a Sony Bravia, which uses HDMI 2.0 (bought on 15 November 2013, the same day as the launch of PS4) but since you said that PS5 works pretty fine with a HDMI 2.0 monitor, I feel very relieved! Guess what? I would like to buy a PS5 on my 22nd birthday (27 June 2023)!

Good video 👍 I was worried after buying my PS5 that I wouldn't notice any of the "upgrades" since my TV only supports HDMI 2.0. Now I know I can wait until the big performance games release to worry about upgrading my tv.

I uses audioquest 48 2.1, rocketfish 8k, Zeskit 2.1, all certified ultra highspeed. for PS5 they all great but the HDMI that comes with PS5 still the best more graphics enhanced, so i returns the audioquest48 and Rocketfish, .nice video and more power to your channel.

I have been watching your gym workout videos for a few months now, looking to buy a ps5 and was pleasantly surprised by the same guy showing up with an altogether different genre of content.
