PS2 to HDMI

I've been asked many times how to connect the Ps2 to an HD TV.
I use a cheap HDMI adapter for this.
It does what it is supposed to do.

Just so everyone is aware his device does NOT make games play in HD. It simply makes it possible to play games on a newer television.

I use the OEM component cables, they were pricy even through OfferUp but with an HDMI converter to my TV, cuz it doesn’t have component inputs, it looks amazing on games like GT4

This is so funny ! lately everybody put his ps5 aside and using only Ps2 or Ps3. admit it those simple games of those times were much more fun to play.

I use PS2TOHDMI + Network adapter + 320GB HDD + 2 original 8MB memory cards + BT receiver for PS4/PS3 controllers and most games I have I play at 720p or 1080i depending on how it's rendered, all on a aqua blue PAL PS2 :D

Best experience, use PS2 to HDMI, and use GSM to upscale to 1080p and then go to playstation driver and turn on smooth texture mapping.

Pressure sensitive face buttons as well as all shoulder buttons and the D pad for games like Gran Turismo three and Gran Turismo four just made the game a joy to play with the controller, the likes that have not been seen since-

If you had a good first generation PS2 controller, with a very well broke in D pad to the point that it was smooth as glass, the sensitivity of it increased over time and you would end up with a D pad that had more sensitivity for the steering than the actual analog stick if you can believe that nowadays?!?!??

It wasn’t until Gran Turismo five that they actually dialed the sensitivity of the steering for the analog stick in to outperform the shittier pressure sensitive components that were featured in the PlayStation 3 controller Dpad!

I use component cables on a 24" Sanyo CRT looks crisp

I use hd retrovision component cables to a retrotink 5x pro upscaler plugged from my silver slim ps2 to my tv. I also have freeMcBoot. I run an ethernet cord from my ps2 to my laptop and setup SMB so i can play all my isos from my laptop through open loader. Set up virtual memory cards so now no games need discs, no games need memory cards, all games are perfectly upscaled, all on original hardware.

It's exactly the same as component cables, with a minor step down in quality due to the conversion. I would only recommend this if your television does not have component ports.

You should use a retrotink or component cables. You'd get a much better picture.
