I don't get the complaints for the staging. It's unique and has a lot of charm, like it's the only entry I've seen that unironically uses and embraces low poly graphics for it's background, and that's exactly what this song needs. It really helps sell the eurodance aesthetic of the song

My problem is everyone is complaining about everything this year. People are complaining about Switzerlands outfit bc it’s “ugly”, Croatia bc apparently the song is too “Rammstein like” so ppl say it’s “not original”, Italy apparently is “too overrated”, Irelands staging was “too demonic”, The Netherlands staging is apparently “too boring” ect. I haven’t heard ppl be this negative about a lot of the entries in YEARS. Stop over analyzing and just enjoy the show instead of complaining about everything guys 😭

Not the kind of epic staging I was hoping for but it’s cute and fits his personality and vibe. The sound mixing both here and during the live show sounded off though, especially Joost’s vocals in the beginning. I hope they fix that before the final.

I was excited to see the staging being a huge fan of Joost and this song …but left feeling flat after the official video and one with a bit of a mosh pit ….Croatia has def upped his game for crowd pleasing…I want Joost to win …is it possible that he’s keeping something back ?
