My 2008 is a fantastic car. Now this. Like the new Citroen too. The DS4 is simply splendid too. They are nailing it. Build quality is excellent. Fuel economy excellent. Performance too. Rare enough to stand out from all the German cars cluttering the roads.

Great to see a European manufacturer put some real thought into the design- looks stunning inside and out. Back is a bit odd however it may not be as pronounced in another colour.

Top top top car ! Time for most Brits to finally admit that the French car makers have really LEVELLED UP big time !
What Peugeot does is just incredible : on same level of quality as the Germans, with spectacular stylish design, for a lower price...
All brands are increasing prices, due to inflation on commodities, etc... pre Covid, Audis and VW were already quite costly, but now.... let's expect paying 10.000 or 20.000 for the new Audis... It's that Peugeot quite pricey, yeah, but still affordable compared to what comes from Germany. Today, French cars are a formidable alternative to German cars.

This is the kind of car, that makes you look back and smile, as you walk away. So, there is life beyond the SUV. Hooray.

Peugeot continuing to knock it out of the park, I absolutely love the styling of their new cars. Love the sharp lines everywhere inside and out. I thought the switch gear was cheap on a 2008 though, not sure if they're much different on the bigger cars.

It’s is quite a striking looking car and the interior is very upmarket for a Peugeot. Those seats appear to be very stylish and comfortable.

You did look a little cramped in the front and low down Nobby. I agree with you regarding the large swathe of Matt black plastic rear bumper. Odd as it’s a really good looking car.

Many, many years ago I had a 1981 Rover SD1, viewed from the side this car looks just like it!

Reminds me of the Rover SD1 with its sloping rear hatch.

Thanks for the MPG figure [43 mpg] and the petrol version does sound a good option .Cheers

Seen one on the road today. It's a proper looker. Don't know what it is though? I think it's a new saloon.

Superb looking car, hope it’s reliable and has a long warranty! I worked in the motor trade in the 80’s, 90’s and early 200’s and had some great and not so great experiences. At that time the Peugeot dealerships in our group Aftersales departments were a war zone, so many unhappy customers, so little help from Peugeot. The cars were well designed, but so many basic faults in manufacturing meant our lives were 24/7 miserable. Then Toyota and Honda came along and improved everything, literally everything in the whole motor industry. You cannot buy a bad car nowadays unless you choose something unproven from China!

Cannot understand why they went with a black plastic rear bumper. Is it not available colour coded to the colour of the car?

Beautiful looking car. Enjoyable review as always. Have u heard anything on the new civic ehev, it's been on sale in UK for months but no word here yet. Think this would be one to watch.

Even the way you’re holding the wheel while driving makes you look cramped for space in there Nobby.
Fine looking car all the same, shame about the grille.
