I still have no idea what I'm giving 57 GB of disc space for. WuWa barely took 30 at launch and I have a lot more stuff to do there than in ZZZ

I like the TV puzzle, I'm pretty sure it's a mix that people like it, It's hard to say if they are going to keep it or get rid of it, but I really do hope they keep it.

you forgot ZZZ will have two new banner for this month while wuwa will only have 1 new banner this month
well it should be 2 banner ( jinshi and changli ) but they rushed 1.1 by one week

They said they'll remove the TV system but honelsty I rlly like it a lot.
It was an original feature that I never have experienced before in any gacha game

In 11 days zzz made 52 mil just off mobile. The problem with your "shock" is you can't see past the west. The west never contributes more than 8-10% of hoyo games revenues. Cn, JP, are the countries that contribute the largest to hoyo games. Drama is only ever on the west. Learn to see past the west, their irrelevancy is real.

The TVs are the biggest problem that hold ZZZ back. While i can see some sense in their existence lore wise, in gameplay they're slow, boring, easy and interrupt the flow of gameplay constantly. The truth of the matter is that Rouge like elements such as the TV minigame are extremely niche and the majority of people simply couldn't care less, and the fact that ZZZ focuses on this mechanic so heavily does very little to keep players happy.

The TV system in ZZZ seems like a novel idea, but it's just a bit too annoying at times. Idk if it's a "me" issue, but the way the camera zooms arounds and shakes so much is very disorienting (maybe better on mobile?). There are also many mission sections that are needlessly long, so I lose track of what's happening and which areas I need to cover. However, some of the later exploration missions are so much fun I hope they keep trying new ideas (without spoiling, the "coin" and "fight" missions are my favorites so far)

without the TV system a lobby game like zzz will just gimp itself
as to how they should improve it, well besides the feedback i gave them on some fixes there should be some creative way
as for the Hollow zone it's quite fun, way less requiring and repetitive feeling than wuwa's rogue like mode which i do love the most in wuwa
and ofcourse zzz has the insta bosses which is fine can't say they are monster hunter world beasts or dark souls bosses heck even wuwa's bosses are more engaging
and i did notice that the combat maps are very distinct and different from one another even though they are in specific themed locations, even the rally maps are different than most combat areas

I was thinking that super challenging combat mechanics in Gacha games which is largely a casual playerbase is more niche than people think.

I just hope it does well for a long time, cause this game is slapping I don't mind playing both wuwa and zzz at the same time

The problem is once you get to lvl 35, there’s not as much to do. They need to amp up the content.

Also I hope you get Ellen. She is the best character in the entire game and so much fun to play.

ZZZ will win, because HOYO itself is just to much of a big name. Basically anyone that have played either HSR or Genshin will try out ZZZ that's why it has the most pre-reg. And more so now, after hoyo has it's own launcher, they've built themselves a gacha ecosystem already. I like WuWa but it's gon be hard to compete, hoyo has the majority market share of the genre. Kuro is also a bit too generous for their own good. Guaranteed signature weapon at pity, higher rates lower pity, lots of freebies and free 5 stars during launch, you can get 2 copies of each limited banner character in shop. Most of this can disincentivize the players to spend, and those that spend will spend less. They're at the phase of gaining trust, hoyo already have their target consumer, so anything decent they put out people will spend.

The reason why any Hoyo game will outperform any other gacha regardless if their games are objectively or subjectively good or bad are:

1.) The Hoyo branding.
2.) The Marketing.
3.) The huge fandom
And most importantly
4.) The aggressive gacha monetization.

Meanwhile, the likes of of WuWa or Limbus Company which has a more pro-consumer gacha monetization and systems won't earn as much due to those systems.

That's the same reason why comparing revenue charts will always be moot. Unless they have the same monetization systems.


Keep in mind, higher revenue doesn't necessarily mean a better game. So this question of "who will win?" is extremely asinine.
