Streamlabs OBS - How to Fix No Desktop Sound/Audio

A short tutorial on how to fix the issue if the desktop sound is not working in Streamlabs OBS.

Was SUPER skeptical. "this can't work...no way" but I had nothing to lose, so I renamed it as instructed. I don't know how or why, but SLOBS is back to successfully recording/streaming my desktop audio again. Thanks!

hey um, Streamlabs is picking up audio for me but i cant hear the audio when I have streamlabs open but after I finished recording the video has the audio is there anyway to hear the audio while having streamlabs open? please help Thank you.
