I feel it's important to think about how you want your presentation to be when it comes to discord balance. Discord audio should match game audio if coms are focused on the game, but if you want more of a "talk show" vibe where your conversations are a main source of content you will want to balance it with your own mic.

Great video here. I usually have very specific questions and although everyones set up is different having some overall numbers to go by is a huge help. I have been struggling so hard with over petting everything. My entire OBS is a petting zoo. Can't leave it alone, Gotta pet those settings and fidgit with everything. My in game audio is loud and clear in my headphones, but is barely audible in the stream. I use Streamlabs OBS and stream from my PS5. Can someone help me change the audio settings so i can bump up the volume? Please!

I already have this setup but I watched your video anyway😁 Like you said, a good balanced audio might make you stay longer than you expected 😁
I also added one more thing for the Discord problem that seemed to work, I added a compressor and limiter on the Discord sound source so when people get louder they don't blow the viewer's headphones until I adjust their volume, and it also helps balance things out.

I use the same headset mic a streamer uses and I have to crack it to +15 for it to be loud enough on stream. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but I’ve had to turn up all my audios similarly.

Everytime I set the music level to -20db, it is way too loud after the export. I will try -35 or 40db later.

I use elgato HD60s, with my ps5 (via chat link for my headphone etc)

The problem I have is that the “party chat” & the game sounds via elgato come through the same source (as the party chat is being brought through via ps party chat & game sounds et )

Quite frustrating but your videos are helping!! :)
