Just blow from the actual exhaust. Worked for me n did the same thing without taking lines off. I find now trying to prime it using the pull start can damage components and put strain on the pull start itself. Doesn't matter which way as long as it works for you and your rc. Awesome video mate.

I always blow thru the pressure line until a bit of fuel squirts out the fuel jet then pull cord a few times to get it into the motor. Starts real easy

I just pull of the pipe coming from the exhaust and use a syringe to build up pressure. Easy to do and very precise, my engine starts up on the first pull.

Please anyone can help me i have a issue my nitro heli engine only starts when i put the finger on exhaust if i remove engine the finger from exhaust the engine turn off ?

I do what u do i take pipe of exaust n blow till i see fuel go through.

Haven't messed with model ic buggies for years but i'm sure i used to put my finger over the carb inlet and turn the engine over. Or a couple of drops of fuel dropped into the carb usually did the trick

I'm glad I discovered your channel!! Even though I've been in and out of the hobby over the years.... But with priming engines I don't think there is a "right" way so to speak. Because everyone will use different methods for priming. I use both the thumb over the exhaust and blow through the line both work for me lol

I put my finger over the exhaust because it sort of tells u the condition of the car, if the engine has no compression then it won’t create much back pressure and if the fuel tank has a leak then it won’t prime very quickly. I’ve used all three ways before tho, I’ve put my finger over the carb, over the exhaust and what I used to do is blow in the pressure line. Whatever works for ya! 👍🏻👍🏻

Brother my nitro won't start leaking from bearing could that be it ? It's a xtm blade . Xtm 15 thank you brother

You pull the line on and off it makes it weak. What I do now is use a syringe with some electrical tape around the end and use it on the exhaust exit. You don't get any chemicals in your mouth and fuel line doesn't get weak.
