Reminds me of King Of The Hill, when they spend their entire Japanese hotel stay in the living room because they didn't realise the walls slid back to reveal more space.

Love, love, love the infinite balcony, especially in cooler or bad weather. You can see out from a chair not just looking at a steel panel below the rail.

My problem with this cabin is that the a/c apparently turns off when the window is opened. Other cruisers have reported the interior warms up pretty quickly and when the a/c switches on again after the window is closed, it can take up to 30 minutes for the room to cool down. I guess this sort of cabin is ok for cool climates or breezy places, but something to avoid in hot areas or tropical zones or during the peak summer months.

I just keep thinking about a bird that nearly flew into my balcony cabin on my first cruise because I had the balcony door slightly open

I love the idea of taking in the view no matter the weather.

I love this idea. Don't care much about the short A/C inconvenience as I really only need that for sleeping at night anyway and hand fans and an ice-cold drink work well enough when I need a cool down

It looks like they're trying to make the cabin bigger on the inside. This simply looks like a glorified Oceanside cabin.

Kinda off topic, but I'm always impressed by the way you use setup and payoff in your content! Did you get specific coaching or do a course for how to write your videos, or did it naturally come through trial and error?

The Sreward wouldn't let us open the window when we had a similar room.

Assuming this is an Edge class Celebrity " Infinate Veranda"? Isnt it just a window that goes down? I prefer a traditonal balcony, but each to their own👍
mrbbt
I want that in an apartment! 😳 It's neat that you can control the amount the window is open? Or does it go all the way up or down default?

Looks like a great idea .So you can have the balcony doors open all night and enjoy the view, Sounds great to me.

I have a cabin like this in my upcoming sailing on the Beyond. I will be in a solo infinite veranda stateroom. Did you ever hear other passengers opening and closing their window through the walls of your stateroom?

Don't see anything to object to. Though I'd hope you could stop the glass partway down, so you could have a little bit of ocean sound at night.

Is the noise of a level that would disturb people in other cabins? I'd hate the idea of being woken or disturbed constantly by those wndows being moved all the time.
