If you are having trouble with Apple Intelligence turning on: Go to Settings > General > Language & Region and select United States. Do the same for your device language and Siri Language set to US English.

For me, restarting my iPhone fixed typing to Siri and I was able to do it.

Apple intelligence works great on my iPhone 15 pro max. I was on the wait list for about 10 mins as well. I also restarted my device after the failed attempt to bring up the AI keyboard once double tapping the bottom of the screen. Everything seems to be working smoothly now.

Probably hot because it’s a new install, you’ll probably be okay tomorrow. when installed the public beta my mine was in fire. I have a 15 pro max I might install

The same thing happened for me. Also, it was 10 minutes. I was able to use it. Which she was never running slow. My phone is running very fast.

Restarting my iPhone a few times helped with the overheating. After that, my phone isn't getting hot (Iphone 15 pro). It also helped with the slow downs as well.

Looks like it’s only for 15 pro, 18.1 doesn’t show at all for other iPhone models.

To get the Apple intelligence working, do the up down power button restart on the phone

Double tap to type with Siri works you gotta turn on the option under accessibility

Overheating for me was solved by turning off listen for Siri, and have it relearn my voice. It’s on now, and no heat issues whatsoever.

Yeah mine was about 10 min mine was doing the same thang with type to Siri rebooting my phone fixed it.

I’ve been installing betas on all my iPhones since way back.
But to turn on the touch bottom of screen for Siri you have to go to accessibility and Siri and you’ll see the option

Works for me but I’m in the states and it took about 10 hrs and it stop being hot and the background had been doing a lot of processing it says in storage that it’s 3G for AI

I see just under the Joined wait list. There is a line that says “support for processing Apple intelligence on device is downloading” I guess you all got that as well?

Restart your phone for the double tap, it worked for me. Plus you can now have Siri record phone calls as well.

You were not on the waitlist at all. It just took that amount of time to download the files needed. It had a message stating downloading model

reboot your phone and the double tap at the bottom will work...i had the same issue.
