Buddy holly the rescue bully needs a home!

I lost my GSD wolf hybrid a month ago and I went for a drive to clear my head because everything at home reminded me of him. Of course I’m California and if yall don’t know it’s not just bad for the people here but the border issue has caused a massive influx of dumped dogs. They are everywhere. I’ve stopped going for drives it’s gotten so bad. I’ve already contacted news stations and all the rescues I can find. I’m open to driving him to another state if I can find him a family. I’m serious it’s not his fault some asshole used him for breeding and then dumped him. He’s a sweetheart.

Hello hoomans & hooman-ettes!

My name is Buddy Holly & I’m here to tell you crazy cats about myself.

I’m a 4-6 year old, well manicured bully breed. I’m a stocky 40lb potato with a big ol’ head & broad shoulders that hold a stiff collar. I have golden, pouty eyes that drive the dames crazy & I dress in a sharp red sport coat that sparkles in the sunlight.

I’m bashful, but playful & people that know me say I’m just a big meatball. A typical day for me consists of pretty much lounging around all day with hourly power naps in my kennel. Im no lazy bones though,like to keep in shape by frolicking in the yard for whole seconds & minutes at a time. I love getting rubs all over, as long as they never stop. I’m completely house trained & keep my kennel clean. Feed me right & I’ll serenade you with the song of my people.

I recently returned from a long vacation from my last owners. They were kind enough to send me on a no-expenses paid trip to the beautiful snowy mountains of Wrightwood Ca! I was cold & hungry. My time there really did a number on my confidence too, It was scary! I mean, how can you look at me & possibly think I’d be in this situation right!?

But hey, I was lucky enough to meet a family of nice people that took the time to talk to me & invite me over to stay at their place for a bit while I get my mojo back. Nextdoor was a huge help! They posted me on there and said people were helping me! I started getting food and toys and treats, oh boy! We were so grateful, they said it was amazing!

Because of my past, I’m bashful at first, but get to know me & I turn into a happy go lucky love bug! While I don’t remember much of my troubled past with other hoomans, these hoomans don’t make me talk about it so I appreciate that. They tell me I’m a great guest & I’m very easy to manage. I listen & follow my foster parents closely & appreciate their kindness, but I’m looking for a life long buddy to call my own!

I was a bit shy at first but I seem okay with other dogs. Im getting comfortable with my foster sister. I’m curious about the kitty but I’m not sure how I feel about her. She’s 15 years old and I’m a big strong guy.
