Siemens TIA Portal PLC Programming Tutorial (Creating an And Circuit)

In this video we walk through the basics on creating a Siemens TIA Portal PLC program, starting with a basic AND Circuit Program.

How can this possibly take 30 minutes to accomplish a simple AND circuit?! Well, we take our time and I go through every step in a slow methodical fashion so that we build up our proficiency in working within the TIA Portal environment.

This is a video for those in my class detailing exactly what I taught in our first PLC class using the Siemens S7-1214C AC/DC/RLY PLC that comes with the "Siemens Cooperates with Education" package.

Currently, my advanced class uses an interesting piece of software from RealGames called Factory I/O. I would suggest you give it a look. (Edit: I'm a moron, you already use it. Still interested in your text, especially with Factory I/O. )

pete vree or any one here.Pls im an intermidiate .Need an assistance on how to connect both a breaker trip signal (In this case motor blinks red) and when breaker is reset motor turns to different colour.Again when the contactor of that motor is closed, I want to use the contactor signal to turn motor on hmi to green coluor .Need help
