My 2 donkeys killed a mountain lion. They went after my sheep in the barn and the donkeys bit the hell out of it flinging into the barn wall until it was dead. All its bones were either broken or shattered. It was dead for a few hours and they still attacked it. I found it the next morning. I didn't realize they can do that. My donkey's have much more respect from me. I definitely won't challenge them anymore when they are being stubborn.

I was camping in Skokomish WA. Had my littles with me and we were up late into the night. We grilled some late night snacks and there were no other campers around us. We were playing cards by lantern light. I kept asking my wife, "Did you hear that?" Her and my boys didn't hear anything. I kept hearing small twigs breaking out in the forest a ways. Then a big branch on the ground cracked. We all heard that! Me, being the man, protector, and dumbass grabbed my flashlight and went off to investigate... I got about 60ft into the forest and I saw the same glowing eyes you see here. I was dumbfounded. I tried talking as if it were a person. The height was almost stomach level. I said "Hey man, you okay?" 😂 Then eyes began disappearing and reappearing from left to right behind a tree as if it were playing slow peekaboo. I then realized I was in trouble and that was a BIG cat! Human eyes don't glow in the light! I made myself as big as I could yellled, "GET OUTTA HERE!" ... This damn thing then lets out a sound I can only describe as a jet engine warming up! It was so powerful that I could hear the leaves being blown away on the ground! I have never in my life had a "Mommy" moment until then! I glanced behind me and I was alone. I walked slowly backwards not turning around until I reached camp. I grabbed my kids and wife and we got in the damn car! 30mins later a park ranger comes around the bend. I waved him down and we walked a circumference around the camp. He told me that there has been a cat harassing campers all season! After things calmed down the ranger left and we went back to playing our cards... 20 mins later, same shit! Snapping of branches in the woods. Me and my 3 boys then all gathered as many rocks as we could and began hurling them towards the sound. Making as much noise as we could. We eventually all slept in the same tent that night. I got goosebumps 3x just typing this! 😂 My kids were little at the time and would have been easy pickins! I thank God no one was hurt, including the lion. What I learned was; Never go into the deep forest without a strong caliber and have your cooking complete and cleaned before the nocturnal predators come out to hunt!

Bulldogs can be pretty vicious. Mountain lion probably isn't used to his food biting and clawing back XD

We used to tree mountain lions for research and hit them with a tranquilizer. We used 2 large Dobermans to chase them up the tree (sometimes 3). That breed has the speed and power to give chase but is no match one on one to a large male. You are lucky it ate a deer before you sat a slow powerful bulldog out for one. as its reaction time is too slow to save its life. Have you seen the size of the claws on these cats? Their teeth? A big male is no match.
