Factorio Beginners Guide 16 Fixing Oil

Today, we make some improvements to our oil build and move onto the start of our logistics system! That means robots building robots. Its a great phase of the game and a really exciting one as everything seems to speed up dramatically from now on.

Still watching your series, thanks for putting out these nice videos. Factorio continues to amaze me, so many viable options / solutions for a problem. It's really interesting to see what solutions people come up with.
EDIT: Damn it never occured to me that you can copy supply demands from factories into requester chests. I wish I had know that a day ago lol.

Negative Root doesn't just "connect water"; he "implements a water inflow".

I'm also not convinced that belt balancers get you *anything* extra out of a factory - the only exception being that you get extra belt storage if you have a *single* balancer near the start.

on your train track you could take iron ore in the cargo wagon and let the train go to a smelting area

When I try to run my lubricant pipe across to the main factory, which is even farther away than yours, I cannot get very far
Wondering why/how your build is able to traverse such a long distance, where mine does not. And I have 12 oil pumps, and 5 refineries, as well as all the other factories, etc. that you built requiring some aspect of oil production.
