Honest review KEEN San Jose 6” wedge work boot

I was looking for a work boot that didn’t break the bank, was going to last, be comfortable all day, and of course look good.

I think these boots are the most comfortable yet durable boot that you can buy for the price. There are more durable boots that are less comfortable, and comfortable boots that are less durable. I searched high and wide for a boot that fit both needs the best that I could find.

I work as a landscaper, doing everything from property maintenance to full garden tear downs and installs. I do a lot of work on the ground on my knees and on ladders.

I have those Keen boots with the Aluminum toe and absolutely love them. They are by far the most comfortable boots I’ve ever wore. I think that maybe the Canadian version may be a little different. The Vinyl parts you mentioned are Real Leather on mine. I always keep a New pair in a box ready to go and around 6-8 months I change to the new boots. My old pair usually become my casual wear boots after a clean up. By far the Most comfortable OUT OF THE BOX BOOTS I’ve ever wore. I will continue to wear these boots because they have never let me down and my Feet never get sore or over heated.. During the winter months I just wear a thicker warmer work sock and my feet are just as comfortable. Cheers 🇨🇦

I bought those exact ones, lightest boots I have ever owned, felt like a sneaker, the only thing for me at first was the digging in my left ankle bone, and noticed there wasn't enough ankle support after everything had broken in, as a welder in a shop standing on concrete flooring all day they definitely were comfortable.

These are so light and comfortable, right out of the box. I wore them to the snow on my first wear and walking on ice and snow they gripped quite well while others were slipping around. With a wool sock they were just great warmth-wise in 20-30 degree weather. My only concern was durability as they are so soft and comfortable.

Snagged a pair for $29 because the local sportsman’s had them for an extra 75% off clearance pricing!! I’m also a 9.5 and went down to 9 for best sizing!

Got the darker color and thought they were so amazing i bought a second pair encase the discontinued them. After 6 months of medium use the soles cracked where the ball of your foot is located. Was unexpected. Usually cheap boots will crack on the top. Keen refunded me and I got something else from them. I wish they lasted longer due to them needing no breaking in. Hopefully they will resolve this issue in the future.

Just worked my first day in the aluminum toed version, just grouting a shower and moving some material so not too hard on them. Felt really good and I love the wider toe portion. I’ll need to waterproof them and add some toe goo to prevent the leather wearing, but they’re exactly what I was looking for.

I had the aluminum toe. They were extremely comfortable.
Not there most heavy duty but. They held up pretty good too considering.

I work indoors running a Mann Rolland Web press 60" we work 12 hour shifts, I bought these keens about 3 months ago. Break in was minimal, comfort high and the toe Box lets my wide foot spread out. Also because of the toe box design I don't get holes in my sox at the Big toe like I have with all other steel toe boots. The ankle on them is a little big so I have to sinch the shoe laces tight at the ankle. I like them, but if you work outdoors skip these boots they have little to no traction for outdoor use.

I’ve got the KEEN Cincinnati’s Carbon Toe’s and haven’t worn them to work yet, I’ve heard mixed reviews about them, I hope they hold up good tho,

These boots are comfortable but after 17 days of work I have to return them due to one of the tongues coming apart, not too happy considering they are $180, everything is made poorly now aways

I have owned KEERN shoes. 4 pair. When you find a problem, good luck with their customer service dept. Cured me.

I just bought the aluminum toe ginger bread color. Got them for 140. Hope they hold up. They come with a 1 year warranty that's a plus. I usually buy boots every year.

My Wolverine boots are awesome comfy out the box and are water proof but boy are they hot. I live so far down Texas it's almost Mexico and when I wear them my feet feel like they are in a oven.

my keen soles lasted over 3 years compared to my little over a year red wig soles. red wing has better stitching but those keen soles last a good long while.
