I'll tell you exactly what Honda has done with this bike. They have made a really fun dirt bike to ride. It's got plenty of power. It is stable and balanced. It's got pretty good valving in the forks until you start hitting some square edges out here in the desert at slower speeds. It's got a pretty good front brake, but tends to be a little grabby at times.

The bike has so much potential and I really, really love how it makes me feel when I'm riding it. I do wish honda would have put a 6 speed in this bike, but overall, I really like this machine.

On this outing, I've also got the 450RX with me and will be able to ride them both on the same loop back to back. Stay tuned for more content from this day!

Your footage between drone and GoPro commentary is incredible. I don’t think there’s a better setup for this content.

this was some of the best camerawork I've seen on a dirt biking video. To be able to record from above and then get your point of view really made me want to get on my bike and take some trails tomorrow. Well done.

The drone shots in this video were great! It's got to be terrifying having that thing following you when there are cliffs/rocks and water nearby.

4 strokes are a little heavier and feel far more planted than 2 strokes, but you still ride playfully on that 4 stroke, I love it!!

Great video. I know it is a lot of work to put all that together like that but i appreciate all the effort.

Super sick drone footage. Your filming game has gone from "ok" to insane over the years! Good work!

keeping your clutch adjusted so it disengages just before the lever hits the grip, will result in a stronger grip on the bike and reduce arm pump.

Love the interplay between the drone and Go Pro footage!

Whoever made that trail sure missed a ton of fun-looking rocky canyons and washes! I'd spend all my time down in those.

Excellent footage, as always. Quick question: do you "burn in" brakes on new bikes? A half dozen or so high-speed, heavy applications of the brakes can help alleviate some of the grabbiness (if that's a word). Also, the 450's rotating mass may also be offsetting some of the 250's grabby tendencies.

One more Q: have you tested identical bikes in different environments? I'm curious if your reviews may differ in areas closer to sea level and in tight, wooded confines.

Would love to know how this compares to the KX250X you recently had, if I recall you really liked the KX.

I'd be cool to see you have a Yamaha YZ250FX to compare this back to back...

nice riding area !! Drone footage always excellent, have you lost any drones? I haven't tried to get footage from a drone yet.

The CRF450X (not RX, just X) has a six speed, but nto sure there is a 250 version of that bike). THink the dual sport (300L or RL) has a six speed though.
