How to Use an LED Test Light

Показать описание
How to use a test light, this is a simple tool that can easily check for a sufficient ground and power sources. #electrical #howto #oemtools
Procedure:
Here I’m using my OEMTOOLS led test light, model number 25019. One end is the probe, there is a red led in the handle and the other side has an alligator clip. When both sides are connected to a good ground and power source, the led will illuminate.
Connect the alligator clip to a ground source and turn on the circuits with the key. Here we can check if there’s power at the fuses.
We can also check if there’s power at the relay when the lighting circuit is activated.
Now at a plug, again checking for power.
This tester can also be switched around so the alligator clip is connected to a power source, then we can check that the light socket is properly grounded.
All around this is a great way for quickly checking power or ground sources.
