No disrespect but the comparing to iPhone needs to stop. I get it, it’s the most tech talked about and bought product every year. But NO NO NO android phone will ever out sell it. How about we say the Nord is the best midrange phone and leave it at that, then make the case. Compare it to any of the 90 phones Sammy releases

There's no reason to mention that a 6.4" diagonally screen makes this a "mid-sized handset". The screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio and its area is ~100.1 cm square. Almost 6 Years ago the Nexus 6 with a 5.96" 16:9 screen was considered as a gigantic phone, that screen's area is 98 cm square, so it is smaller than the Nord's screen and yet people call Oneplus Nord a mid-sized handset. You should compare the areas of the screens, not their diagonal lengths. It's true that the 20:9 aspect ratio makes the phone narrower than a 16:9 but it is still harder to reach the top of the screen with one hand, that's one of the reasons this screen is still considered large.

There was a lot of samsungs better than iphone 8 but today there are more users of iphone 8 that those who chose samsung then.

If OnePlus releases a variant of this Phone in the U.S. They Need I Repeat Need To include Better Speakers. By that I mean Good Stereo Speakers. Remove the Macro and In Depth Cameras if you have too and include Dual Stereo Speakers. If cost allows it include a better Camera to compete with the Pixel 4a and iPhone SE. Get those 2 things right and with the marketing power of TMobile and Verizon Priced at $400-450 OnePlus has the secret sauce to make a dent in the U.S. They already have the Screen with 90hz down packed and Battery as well with Warp Charge. Now they need to tackle the remaining things Cameras and Good Sounding Stereo Speakers. Just an advise OnePlus if you can include a more premium variant of the Nord with Great Screen & Brightness, Cameras, Stereo Speakers and Price at a little more for those of U.S looking for just a little more out this phone. And OnePlus will have a Phone in a league of it's own in the Sub $500 Range.

I'm not an Android or apple fanboy but OnePlus Nord can't be an iPhone SE killer with that shitty processor compared with the A13 that it is even better than the top notch of Qualcomm. Just saying.

I just got my iphone SE last month and am happy with that as my back up phone and unfortunately that cutout for the camera in the display is a deal killer for me so even if it were available n the states I would not be getting the Nord or the flagship 1+ device either for that matter if they killed the notch I might consider it but till then I have stopped trying to get my carrier to try getting that brand’s phones

im fine with my Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite with the same chipset also a great amoled screen that give it fantastic battery time, 5 g, "only" 60 hz display but im fine with that, and the cost is 1/4 cheaper than the Oneplus nord here in Denmark, The Oneplus Nord is way to overhyped.
