I own a NORD N30 5G and the phone is an absolute must have for anyone with PWM sensitivity. I cannot overstate how much of a life saver this phone was on my eyes. It has an LCD screen instead of the current overly bright OLED type screen that most current phones have, especially current era Samsung. I had bought an S23 Ultra but had to return it after two days because it was murder on my eyeballs.

I love my n30! Very dependable, offers a lot at a reasonable price, love being able to use ear phones and a sd card.

Seems like a great phone especially with sd card and 3.5mm support

It kills me every time I hear someone say you will be wiping the back or you'll never keep it clean or its slick as Teflon.
Have none of y'all ever heard of a case.
There are cases made that are not meant to protect but just keep fingerprints and dirt etc off the device.

I have what i consider two OP flagship phones. 10Pro and 11.
The 10t is no slouch, nor are the Nord3 or Nord N 30. Just different levels for different needs and budgets.
You also say that the n30 is going on 2 Years olds which is not true.
The snapdragon chip was released almost 2 years ago. But the phone was released in June 2023.
Even with a near two year old chip is works very well.

I got a chance to play with this. And I like it. For the price and features, the Nord series pretty much brings back what One Plus originally stood for when they started. Flagship performance for an affordable price, even though it doesn't use a flagship processor. Not to mention, micro sd expansion, a physical finger print scanner combined with the power switch, a headphone jack, and fast charging, which also makes up for the lack of wireless charging, which I personally can live with out. It may not use an OLED, but that can prevent pulse width modulation and contribute longer battery life.

I think OnePlus is a great choice for the US market, especially when there are only 4 other OEM phones and they are expensive. I had my first oneplus 6 for 4 years and now my kids are using it. I was able to upgrade to my OnePlus 9 pro last year from best buy at the huge black Friday discount

I have this phone & really enjoy it. I've had flagship phones & budget phones over the years. But this a much better phone than the $300 asking price. I do miss LG phones was a big fan of the Stylo series phones.

i wished they'd release the more premium lineup of the nord series like the nord 3 or nord ce 3 in the USA, i really feel like it would help people from having to choose budget(ish) phones or flagship phones, and getting the premium midrange-like standard set by the s20 fe, and would be really popular.

I dont wish for OLED displays in-fact, I wish there were more flagship devices with an LCD IPS panels - I am PWM sensitive and I cannot use any OLED devices without having terrible migraines for days. Great review though.

Oneplus does have a nice opportunity to step up and fill LG's missing space, but they don't appear to be trying very hard. Motorola is trying, but failing, for the most part. Only the Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 is worth writing home about this year. Pixel phones are overpriced and glitchy. The Pixel 7A should be $399. I wish LG would come back and innovate and bring back creativity to the increasingly boring smartphone market!

I got this to replace a moto G stylus 5G and I am thus far very happy with its performance. Got the OnePlus sandstone-textured bumper case for it both to prevent scratches and fingerprints on the shiny chromatic grey finish, and to make the phone easier to keep a grip on. Between the charger, thick red cable and the smiley-face SIM tool, nice package. Agree that the camera is lackluster, but overall performance is crisp and responsive, and OxygenOS is nicely free of bloatware unlike say, Samsung. Good phone for <$300.

Yeah. Got tne N30. My LG G8x was ready to retire with my battery in bad shape. Also no updates of any kind. Including security. This is about as close to the LG phones were with a lot of features. Cannot use the Samsung A series phones with the Meditak processors.
Very good budget phone. Got mine for $234.00 a few weeks ago. I always use Nova Launcher on any phone i get and it is fast. The 8 gb ram is what allows this. Will get Android 14 and 3 years of security updates. Alright with me for less that $250. And with a snapdragon processor.

It's a beautiful smartphone, but unfortunately, here in Brazil, it costs two minimum wages. I'm tears.

This phone is great. The performance in the SD695 is still very fast on day to day tasks. As long as you dont game, its perfect in efficiency and regular performance. The cameras, charging, and design is also great

This is actually what I want from a phone as an Apple user, I never liked the lack of headphone jacks and I always love SD card compatibility with androids compared to Apple. I might genuinely buy this when I get a new phone

Thank you for the review, have you tried the GPS when driving, lots of phones having GPS issue now?

I have had the N10 since it came out in 2020 and aside from taking it everywhere and the outside of my case and screen protector showing where and tear the phone still runs beautifully I don't even really not much lag on anything I need on a regular basis. I mostly only only looking to upgrade now because I just heard about the new N30 and I'm like hm maybe I'll upgrade. Upgrade and keep my N10 as a back up phone you can never have to many of those.

Nice review. Are there any Android phones you recommend which have a screen less than 6 inches?

Any spyware worries with this phone? Would you use your banking apps on it?
