That old German 10, 000 marks inflation banknote is actually quite rare. There were two format versions printed, a rather large one (which you got) and a much smaller one (about half the size of the one you have). Much fewer were printed of the large-format bill, so it's considerably rarer. Please DO NOT ROLL IT UP and stuff it in your silly tin box, especially not since it seems to be in excellent, near non-circulated condition! Put it in the banknote album that you've just been gifted.

I have a hyper inflation 1000 Mark Reichsbanknote from 1921, handed down from my grandmother, my Oma. It's worth only a few cents too, but it is so ancient and so awesome. Was so awesome to see a 10, 000 Mark note from the same period! I need to start collecting banknotes again. It's great fun!

Glad I could help out (and make him happy) with the album pages and the banknote. I was going to send a binder too, but realized too late it didn't fit. At least he will store his banknotes properly now
