The Best Summer Walleye Lures

Показать описание
In this video we talk about some of our favorite summer walleye lures. These are 4 lures that will work in the majority of lakes in which walleyes live on. There are a million different ways to catch a fish however these lures tend to be our top producers day in and day out. First we have a few different live bait options. Spinner rigging for walleyes is nothing new but is extremely effective. Slip bobber fishing is a great way to hang live bait over a fished head when they get finicky. The next lure is a Acme hyper rattle. This a speed jig that is extremely versatile when walleyes go deeper during the summer months. These lures and jigging raps have become extremely popular over the coarse of the last few years. The next lure i go nowhere without is a jig and plastic. Specifically a Kalins jerk minnow JR. I fish this bait very aggressive and I fish it in a large variety of depths.
Thanks for watching and I hope this was useful to you. Thanks

Great video! Avid angle but new to walleye. Thanks for helping me get started. I appreciate the demos on how to fish those artificial baits!

I'm new to walleye fishing and have fished for walleye at Lake Leelanau, Michigan for the last three weeks. Throughout the course of my trip, watching your videos was the key to my success! I went from the first 6 days catching no walleye, to have back to back days with 10 plus 15"-17" walleye and I got my PB of 18"! I have learned so much from your videos and wanted to say thank you! You're videos are fantastic and I can't wait to see what is to come from your channel.

As they both said, if you haven’t tried hyper rattle, jigging rap, shiver minnow, you’re missing out on one of the best ways to catch eyes. Extremely addicting! Just fished 12 days on the chip, caught more eyes then i ever have. Size isn’t there like other lakes in the area, but it’s fun! If you haven’t watched toms videos on sharp shooting walleyes, check them out. He explains how to use electronics.

I've had a ton of luck jigging spoons in the north woods of Wisconsin summer hard snapping and letting swing back to the boat. What would be the advantage of using a jigging tap or hyper glide be over using say a castmaster? Or does the jigging rap style bait seem to just have preference by the eyes in your area?

Fantastic channel Tom (and Mitch). Great no BS info. Thank You! Any plans for a deep dive into Ice Fishing this season? Hayward area and tactics to approach new lakes...? Walleye and Cappies? Keep on!

While trolling harness's a couple trips ago, I marked a pile of fish in 23fow, dropped a way point and a marker bouy.. Drop shots with nightcrawlers went down and instantly got on em... Fish after fish... works well in slight river current like reservoirs.

Thanks Tom for the great videos. When you’re running those spinner rigs and not using bottom bouncers, how long are the spinners, what sorts of weights do you use, how much line do you let out, and what speed do you generally troll at? And what are your thoughts on big blades vs the smaller ones? Any tips on colors? I have a place on Sand Lake (near Stone Lake). Hope to hire you for a day some time soon to learn some tricks. Keep the great content coming.

In general, do you use different weights for different season, for a fast snap/slow snap presentation, or water depth?
