I need to see a dentist. But i am terrified of even the thought of the hole experience. I can literally count on one hand of how many times i went to the dentist throughout my entire childhood. I wasn't taught how to properly take care of my teeth. So because of that i have had severe dental issues for pretty much over half of my life. I havent been able to smile in a photo for omg a very long time. I wish more than anything in the world to be able to have my teeth fixed. To most people smiling isnt a big issue or its not something to difficult to do. However for myself its so difficult. I have lost out on a a pretty big chunk of my life due to my teeth. And i sit and watch so many videos on YouTube mostly of peoples incredible stories and their journeys on getting their smiles back. I am going to be 34 in couple months and my reasons why i havent went to a dentist is mainly due to MONEY the costs of everything is way out of my reach. Unfortunately theirs so many different things that a person can have done. So its almost bitter sweet.

I also have another quick question as I may be losing my front teeth also and I’m only 25 😩 I don’t have enough bone for implants so this may be my option. Do you feel like or notice facial sagging around your top lip area? I think you look amazing which is giving me hope!

I had neglectful parents they never took me to the dentists my whole childhood and teenage years i went for the first time on my own when i was 17 yo ( i saved some money ) and he took and x ray and told me i need to get 3 of my permanent 1st molars extracted and to be replaced by implants when im 18 i didn't have the money ofc and my parents spend all of theirs on drugs and alcohol
So i just got them extracted and had partial dentures in the places of the 3 molars
Now that im 22 and i saved some more money im seeing an orthodontist and she said she can push my 2nd and 3rd molars to close 2 of the gaps but unfortunately i dont have wisdom tooth on one side so i have to get an implant
The whole journey takes about 3 years and im in phase 1 im getting all cavities filled and deep clean my teeth before i go to phase 2 which is braces then we finish with phase 3 implants .
Its so overwhelming tbh and my self esteem is all the way down to hell but what can u do u cant choose ur parents, im just hoping all the pain, money and psychological torture would be worth it at the end

Hi I have a question, I just did my temporary bridge and the inner side of the teeth bridge were like flat (there's no gap between the 4 teeth bridge) is that normal?

So as long as we do the flossing and water pic it will last a long time? Is that im going to need partials but for one of the tooth they are offer a bridge but im scared if it will last

Do the permanents feel much better than the Temps? I just had my Temps put in a couple of days ago and they feel kind of weird like when I chew and one side kind of feels bulky. I'll be mentioning it to my dentist this week to see what can be done about it.

Bridge is non removable, it's anchored in and it feels like more your real teeth.

This is exactly my case, 4 missing teeth precisely the front up . My accident damaged my dentition and caused me to extract them and a doctor gave the removable acrylic which is broken. I only go out on mask and I can't even afford ac
Crown or better option . Hopefully one day I regain my smile and confidence.
