I’ve been running 20 years and this is my favorite trainer of all time. Goldilocks in all aspects

The midsole is pwrrun, with a pwrrun + insert if I'm not wrong.

50 miles into my Ride 15’s and they get better and better and yes PWRUN midsole with PWRUN+ insole which makes a huge difference to the softness underfoot compared to previous versions.

SJD 🧐 how could you not mention the thick Pwrrun+ insole? That's a huge part of what makes this shoe so nice. Otherwise, I think the review is spot on 👍

The last time I ran in this shoe was the Ride ISO. It was my favorite shoe I’ve ever run in. Since I wore it out I’ve run in whatever I could get on sale. Today I picked up the Ride 15’s on sale and they are like lacing on an old friend. I’ve missed this shoe so much and can’t wait to hit the pavement with these!

Couple things I want to point out: the insole is a PWRRUN+ insole (about 3mm thick), and the actual midsole is regular PWRRUN that’s been reformulated to be softer than other PWRRUN shoes (that’s debatable). Also, if you look at the outsole, the lateral side rubber is more raised than the medial side, which makes this a great shoe for supination (under pronation) runners. I did my 50 mile review, and I found this really good for heavier runners. It’s firmer foam and wide base is really good for us heavier runners at various paces.

For me it is alarming how much of an improvement this is over the Ride 14. The upper is way less constricting than the last version and more breathable. I love the more cushion and the midsole feels way less dead out of the box and more forgiving. Outsole pattern is spot on too. Biggest improvement from any shoe year to year so far in 2022 in my opinion.

I´ve just given up on My Asics Noosa Tri 13 after 160 miles, and replaced them with Saucony Ride 15 - and what a difference.
I only took them for a short sprint interval session this morning, but I had a much better ride than the Noosa offered Me.
I´m a neutral runner, but the Noosas made Me pronate quite a lot, as they offered Me no support what so ever on the inside.
I actually went for a run test to see if My running style had changed, but no matter what neutral shoe I tried, I was still neutral. I´m looking forward to do a lot more miles in My Ride 15´s, especially My speed/tempo runs and halfmarathons.

As a heavier runner. I find this shoe perfect under foot. Soft enough. Ran 2 hours in them today and they were perfect.

Excited this comes in a wide in UK although dull colourway for us wide feet 🦶 crew! Loved firmness of Ride 13 and use for my faster sessions and great on Tempo runs and 10k PB in them 👍

I tried the R15 for 5mi at a Saucony event. I didn't like the firmness when going easy / steady paces at all. But I did do some tempo surges and then the shoe came alive. I'd love to do a comparo of Ride vs Kinvara.

Thanks for the Ride 15 review! (I believe the midsole is PWRRUN rather than PWRRUN+.) I have to select new daily trainers and long run shoes to replace my Ride 13s and Glideride OGs and am looking forward to your Triumph 20 review in a few months! As for Karaoke, I usually end up with a Beatles or Jim Croce song.

QOD: Yes I have, there were a lot of karaoke spots when I lived in South Korea. A go to for me has always been Friends in Low places and while I am not a good singer its usually a hit.

Thanks for the great content! It seems to me like the scoring system is a bit like the earthquake magnitude scale. The difference between a 7 and 8 magnitude earthquake is huge, kinda like the difference between a 7 and 8 shoe score. 👍

Amazing shoes, just took them out of the box and had a short 5 mile run, they're very easy and comfortable to wear! Did a few sprints in between and must say this shoe really gives back what you put in. I am not a marathon runner so can't say if they'll suit your purpose if so, however for some like myself that run's a 5 to 10 mile every now and then, this is the perfect shoe for you.

QOD: Karaoke go-to is Elton John “Crockodile Rock”. High energy, known by most, and the falsetto part la la la la always gets laughs (or cringes which is also good). Key rule with Karaoke is don’t be boring!!
