Glut is a 501 (c)3 non-profit, worker’s collective, managed and operated by the workers. Glut uses a consensus-based-decision making process to make all business decisions.
Founded in 1969, during the Vietnam War, Glut has traditionally supported peace, environmental and social justice initiatives. At the time, food co-ops, alternative newspapers, and free health clinics were an integral part of a movement that went far beyond opposition to the war.
Glut have a collection of herbs & spices I have honestly either never heard of or have seen on TV by a global traveling Chef in some super remote village in the mountains of nowhere. Their medicinals, health & beauty, drinks, produce, etc is easily some of the hardest items to find. Glut is definitely worth the trip.
