The most awesome cats are cats you find at shelters. They are sooo sweet and loving, especially with proper care. Senior cats are the best !!

I've had two cats off of this list and paid exactly $0.00 for them. One I found under a vending machine in front of the supermarket.

Cats should be valued by love, not currency.

I would adopt a disabled cat from a shelter and save his/her life. After all, most of them has been trough some really nasty stuff and deserves a good home.

Adopt a kitten or a cat. An animal is more than a fashion statement, it is a living being that will love you unconditionally if you treat it right.

If I had $22, 000 to spend it wouldn't be on a cat. I'd rather spend a few dollars and get one from a shelter! There are way too many that are killed at shelters because no one wants them. These are by far the sweetest and loving cats because they know they have been "saved".

**When your mom is allergic to cats so you can get an imaginary cat**
:)

Update: yeahhh turns out I’m also allergiiic
Update2: me and my mom are allergic to the actual species of cat, not the fur. While hypoallergenic cats usually don’t cause allergies for people allergic to the fur, people allergic to the skin oils and saliva of cats will still get allergies

I found my chausie abandoned in a box with bricks on it in an ally. He was crying. And we couldn't find out why. we thought maybe he's just sad. but when we took a closer look, his whiskers where burned off, and he had bald spots. don't worry he's fine.

I'll stick to the domestic cat at the shelter.

One more fact for you Cat Lovers:
The first Scottish Fold was a barn cat found on a farm in Scotland.
They started to breed with this cat, and it then officially became a breed.
