Calculating Lot Size #shorts

Here’s another way of looking at it.

- 1 standard lot = $10
- 0.1 mini lots = $1
- 0.01 micro lots = $0.10
- 0.001 nano lots = $0.1

Example:

Account balance: $10000
Risk tolerance: 1% (per trade)
Risk per trade: $100
Stop-loss: 10 pips

Basic formula:

Risk per Trade / Number of Pips in Stop = $10
Risk per Pip / Amount of Lots: 1


Lastly, factor in your broker's entry fees.

It does not make sense ..it is not hard to stop losing or taking a profit .. you just need a flexible amount of money in your account .. If you buy or sell, you put stop lose you will lose money, but keep stopping lose open till the market goes to your profit ..other wise, you would be panicking each time market goes against you and lose every time. trust me, I want to make 30 % and lose only 10 % bullshit doesn't work. You have to take a risk, , , on the losing side to make money on win side. After all ..it is a gamble ..some weeks I make good money in other, i lose a lot ..it is Casino, my friend.

hey would pls tell me how to measure my stoploss correctly on different charts i mean on EURUSD my stop loss is around 10 to 30 pips but on XAUUSD or US30 my stop loss goes around 100 to 300 pips which doesnt let me enter a trade with a 1000$ account ( position size goes under a micro lot )
