There is a company in Canada that sells Solar panels that were manufactured and put together in China, then re-brands them and claims the "Made in Canada" label to by-pass tariffs. This is still going on today. I have the receipts.

Nuclear energy people! We need to put more research focusing on that, and in the meantime we need to subsidize the creation of nuclear power plants. Nuclear energy can both meet rapidly increasing energy demands as well as reduce carbon emissions.

You missed the most important part - since we cannot store energy we need backup power plants (gas or coal) running behind all the time and be ready to step in and cover the grid demand when the sun sets or the day is cloudy - thus not saving any CO2 emissions in the end. Germany is the perfect example.
