Hi all,

As a few of you have asked and to clear any confusion, yes there is a small mistake in the very last part of 14b. The second value of t is incorrect. I've made a silly mistake inputting 2pi-1.1593 into my calculator but if you do it correctly you will find the second time corresponds to 20:55.

Anyway ignoring that I'm hoping the paper has been helpful in your revision and good luck with your upcoming exams!

for the last question part b, time of the video at 1:57:00, 5.1239 - 0.644 = 4.4799 not 4.6106. so second solution of t would be 8.91 hours. Can you pls let me know if i am correct. so the second time would be 20:55

For 14c, can we say that a limitation is that the model is only valid for 12 hrs after midday?

for the last question when we use cast diagram to get values for cos isn't the domain for cos between 0 and n/2 so you will only get 1.159 or do you not use that domain for part b?

Question 14 part b when you take away 0.644 from the second value you should get 4.4799 no?

for question 14 b is the second time not 20:55 not 21:10

I have another question sorry! For the differentiation first principles question - in the spec it says small POSITIVE integer powers of x (along with sin x and cos x), so would you think the derivative of 1/x from first principles could actually come up
