I cannot emphasise enough that you should be comfortable with answering all style of questions since Edexcel can choose any topics 1-10 for papers 1 and 2, but there are clear patterns from past paper 1 exams so in those weeks/days before the exam you should master high yield topics (as shown in the video). 2019 A* was 72%, 2020 was 71% for an A*. The reason 2023 was so much higher is because the paper was significantly easier than previous years.

the reason the grade boundaries were higher in 2018 was because only further maths students took the papers hence the grade boundaries were higher! I hope that makes sense. thank you for the video :)

I have all the papers downloaded as PDF's, and each time I finish an exam yr (p1-3) I take screenshots of the questions i did worst on per paper, and in Microsoft publisher make a 'frankenpaper' of ~100 marks- lets me do only the hard questions again under timed conditions.
