"Parents have their kids locked up and swung around in metal birdcages."
If this hadn't been a video about theme park rides I would have assumed that to be some archaic form of punishment.

Can't be a Theme Park Crazy video without an Epilepsy Warning

I'm from Spain and I'm so used to seeing Alcatraz-esque rides on carnivals that I didn't realize they weren't common outside of Spain

That last ride looks like a kids ride you'd see in a Tim Burton movie or the Addams Family.

I can't describe how awesome the Madhouse is. I rode one without any knowledge of what was going to happen. Most hilariously entertaining experience ever. I was pleasantly surprised to see it on this list.

I can't even begin to describe how long my day is when cleaning a Madhouse.

Ive seen and put Sophie on the Tweety Cages dozens of times. Never thought of it as a bizarre attraction. Its also been moved around, it used to be over where Speedy Gonzales is today

The tweety escape is definitely an example where theming and immersion wins out over literal-minded thrill-number-crunchers. ... mainly because you have to view it from the kid's perspective.
- So you could either go on one of the other kid-rides at the park that are clones of other similar "go around the center post" rides with a looney toons mascot stapled on it (honestly not memorable ... maybe they had a taz devil ride with jeeps? can't remember)
OR
- you could hop in a bird cage in a ride called Tweety Bird's Escape, and pretend like Sylvester was gonna get you and you were escaping

In a literal-minded sense, yeah it's weird. From a kid's perspective - yeah of course the bird cage ride's a winner.

I LOVE THE TWEETY RIDE!! It was my absolute favorite ride as a kid!! I remember how excited I was when I was allowed to go in my own cage instead of sharing. Best day ever! Hahahaha

Villa Volta (the rotating room thing) at Efteling blew my mind when I was younger and got on it for the first time.

From the amazing backstory theme to the ride itself, I was in complete awe.

I got to experience Slammer twice. Glad i did before it went "extinct". It’s actually still SBNO.

The Topple Tower is my favorite flat ride of all time. I remember when I was young, I used to love Timber Tower at Dollywood. I was so sad when they removed it. I hate to see them lost to time. As with the Sky Swat. It probably was the most intimidating flat ride I've ever been on.

The tweety bird cages was one of favorite rides growing up. You not only could sit or stand, you could swing from the cross bars inside the cages. I usually rode the cages upside down. I really wasn't expecting to see that. That brought back memories.

Imagine being the ride-op at that digger-ride.
Spun in circles all day long with little peripheral vision.
He must get motion sick.

I love your bizarre amusement ride videos. Because I’m a little older, I remember riding some of these rides as a kid. Especially the Skydiver! One of my favorites! Keep up the good work buddy!

The Topple Tower looks pretty awesome, actually. As for the Rodeo, I doubt there are any amusement park / carnival operators in the U.S. that will take the risk on a ride where people actually fall off it.

I rode Alcatraz, the tagata and the rodeo attractions, veery popular in Spain, and also extremely fun! It seems that we spaniards love having attractions that are really dangerous lol

The Madhouse is a fun experience. I've experienced them at Six Flags New England and Six Flags Great Adventure, both under the name "Houdini's Great Escape"

I rode a version of the mystery ride at 6 flags in Nj. It was called the Houdini attraction. One of the coolest rides I’ve ever been on.
