That's a great setup. For me personally, I can't work anything smaller than a 14-inch screen. Even the 12.9 iPad Pro is not big enough as a laptop replacement.

I have an iPad 12.9 inch m2 and a MacBook Air M2 and now I only use my iPad for work and everything else, it’s far superior for me! I use the same keyboard and mouse as you and then I use an iPad stand so that I can place my iPad at my desk. When I want to use it as a computer I simply place my iPad on the stand and when I’m done I just grab it and walk away with my iPad to watch videos, web browse etc. so versatile! I don’t think I’ll ever own another laptop! Yeh otter box defender case for the iPad is an amazing case btw!

You can replace an iPad with a PC only when you can open multiple instance of same application which currently not possible in any Mobile devices.

You can't use the full version of Microsoft Applications in an iPadPro and it's hard to print without a wifi-enabled printer.

Nope. Stage Manager is an absolute nightmare. I thought of replacing laptop with my M1 iPad, Idk who thought SM was a great idea.

Yeh ofc I have an IPad Air and it’s super powerful. It’s my everyday go to but it’s just an IPad. It can’t really replace Computers.

The Magic Keyboard is probably the best feature/accessory of the iPad lineup (next to the Apple Pencil). Yes, its expensive, but trust me on this, i literally can’t imagine using the iPad without it anymore.

if you connect it with external monitor and use your logitech keyboard to switch between ipad and other device, you will find that keyboard can not control the content in the monitor when it focus on ipad. mice never work smoothly on ipad as well.

But the microsoft office for ipad is very limited. I can’t open 2 different of ms word documents at the same time

To me the problem is that ipad OS is clearly not designed for the mouse as much as macos and windows. Stage manager and external monitor are good but I can't stand how poorly it responds to my mx master scroll wheel compared to a laptop or a pc. It's a shame because it's so close to being a laptop substitute.

i tried to use my ipadpro in replace my macbookpro, but i find it really hard. Ipadpro interface is not easy to use compared with mac.

Sir, can u really use the iPad Air + Logitech keyboard for a replacement of a midrange laptop ?? I mean it's perfectly better for watching movies and alot more easy to carry than a weighty laptop . But is it completely fine for entering text data into websites (data entry) and doing a bit of excel work ? And pdf making, viewing etc and printing docs? And does it feel comfortable for sitting and typing with the keyboard and using the mouse ?
