Hi. Zoologist here.
These are called Snail Biters. Their teeth are like razors. They latch onto frogs and fish by digging their teeth into them and hanging on until the animal bleeds out. Then, the snail makes a high pitched scream to notify the rest of the snails that dinner is ready. Soon, they all make their way over to the deceased animal and feast.
I’m surprised your finger didn’t get bitten. Consider yourself lucky, seriously.. Once they latch onto skin, there is no getting them off. You’re lucky it was only your nail.

I think that might be either a nerite snail or a mystery snail(yes some snails are called mystery snails) which are important for cleaning up algae in fish tanks and they do not bite.

Grasses are monocotyledonous herbaceous plants. They include the "grass" of the family Poaceae, which are called grass by ordinary people. This family is also called the Gramineae and includes some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). Most of the grasses have hollow stems or stems consisting of concentric cylinders. The leaf blades of many grasses are hardened with silica. The species of grasses have slender leaves that are usually alternate and usually have parallel veins. Each leaf is divided into a lower sheath hugging the stem and a blade with margins typically entire. The leaf blades of many grasses are hardened with silica. A membranous appendage or fringe known as the ligule lies at the junction between sheath and blade, preventing water or insects from penetrating into the sheath. Most species are perennial plants, and reproduce by shooting up new shoots from their crowns at the beginning of the growing season. These new shoots are clones of the parent, not true seeds. In the photoperiodically inducible species, the trigger for flowering is day length. The inflorescences of grasses are produced at or near the top of the stem. Most species of grass are wind-pollinated. The inflorescences of many grasses emerge at or near the top of the plant, allowing for the pollen to be easily blown by the wind onto the female portion of the flower. Grass pollen is small, but heavy, with a relatively high grain volume that gives it the ability to adhere to grass pistils. Grasses are highly variable, and many many grass is growing

Second zoologist here.
These are called Razor Snails, or scientifiy called “Razor Gastropoda”. These snails have razor-sharp teeth, which can cut the human skin. These razor-like teeth can be very painful, and sometimes can go very deep in the skin. If you were to be stabbed multiple times, you may get turbucolosis or Razoric poisoning. It is a very invasive species, killing other snails habitats. They are the siblings of the Apple Snail. So if you see one, turn back immediately.

Okay since I see no one else I’ll talk about them! These snails are classified as pest snails. These ones specifically are called bladder snails. They asexual reproduce and can overpopulate in aquariums/tanks quickly. They’re harmless and cute and grow up to the length of about a penny. Their eggs are usually found under plant leafs or in cracks in driftwood. They’re fine for aquariums as they help clean the tank and eat dead plant matter just make sure they don’t get out of control if you don’t enjoy seeing little specks all over your glass!

People with common knowledge know snails don't bite While snails don't "bite" in the way humans or other animals do, some people might mistakenly feel a "snail bite" due to the sensation of a snail's mucus or defensive secretions, or because of the modified radula of some cone snails, which are venomous.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
No True Teeth or Bites:
Snails don't have teeth in the way humans do, but they have a feeding structure called a radula, which is a chitinous strip covered with hard calcium bits used for scraping or chopping food.
Mucus Trails:
Snails produce a slimy mucus as they move, and if a snail crawls across your skin, it might leave behind a trail of slime, which some people might describe as a "snail bite".
