I agree with all of the steps in this video; however, I don’t agree with the concept of getting the ex back. If, as a man, you are working hard to be the best version of yourself, then why go back to someone who has proven with her actions that she will lose respect for you? Even if you get back together, if you suffer a temporary setback, she will choose to leave again - she has no true desire for you, it’s only surface-level attraction. If you are the best version of yourself, then you can move on and find someone better and more mentally committed to the relationship. She made a choice, and you can support her choice by moving on to someone better. Her regret is the consequence of her behavior, and it’s hers to deal with.

I wasn’t perfect and we had our issues but married for 23 years now divorced 6 years. She has called or face times me every week and often texting multiple times a day, sometimes we don’t talk or text for days or weeks. But she is always the one coming back to me and wants to keep connected. She is Persian and I’m from USA.
