I HATED IVECOS... Until NOW! - ETS2 Iveco S-Way

The new Iveco S-Way has come to ETS2! This is my first impressions of the new truck. Will it change my attitudes towards Iveco?

3:55 Its because you've set your Blinkers to the right and the system thinks you're about to drive into the barrier dispite the fact that the Truck isnt moving. These issues are common with many Modern Trucks in ETS2.

Personally still not a fan of digital mirrors, I think its the fact that they are so bright and dont move with your head (Camera)
The interior with mirrors looks pretty good still

Euro truck sim really lacks interactions with world and truck interior
since a lot of trucks got touch screens, would be really really nice to see interactive screens, or even to turn off some of those beepings and etc etc.

I may be the minority here but i prefer the outside design of the stralis and not the new s-way.

My personal problems with the Iveco :
The left screen for the mirror is pretty bad mounted, it blocks the view of a important part of the windscreen. Especially when you are cruising through mountains and some hairpins curve to the left appears, all you will see is a huge mirror screen in front of you.
The dashboard is minuscule, looks like they designed the interior of a car in a truck, also the white fond of the gps looks ok in day time, but night time its like you have a big flashlight in the middle of interior.
Also the retarder is not animated, just the engine brake.
Overall its a what i called mid size truck, the cab is a bit closer to the ground (like the Daf XD, Scania R) you also can compare it if you put the Iveco side by side with a FH or Scania R, the windshields are not leveled.
What i like is that it has a custom warning sound, Man and Daf kinda use the same sound (who also you can turn it off in the settings), and that side mirror for the digital mirror version, is not mounted like normal on the upper side of the door, it is a bit angled to the front. Also the white fond gps is unique, but a interesting thing, you got 4 identic transmissions with identic ratios, 2 simple 2 with retarder, the only difference is differential ratios 😂

Iveco makes great trucks...it's just that it needed some love in this game...and finally got it!

3:15 It goes in the ideal direction. The redline's closer to your eye level if you're focusing on the road ahead, as it should be. Aston Martin does the same, too, and it makes no sense why car manufacturers stick to the regular layout instead.

5:35 there is also a sound with other trucks, its just a different sound
and its just as annoying on the other ones

Not a fan of the oustide looks but imo it's a good truck for curtinsiders and regular cargos. I wouldn't dare to haul something on a low loader. Interior is very nice but the mfd font is too small to see at least to me but a very nice interior. Pretty good truck imo but I'd still chose a TGX over it, I just like them more overall.

something that surprised me, is that if you disregard all realism they can get to like 103mph/165kph if given a long enough stretch to speed up

The system detects road side rails as an obstacle and beeps accordingly. I believe it's with all trucks, not just Sway
I believe this truck is the one with the lowest fuel consumption, at least 30% lower than others

You can turn off the sound effect from the blind spot warning from the game settings: you'll still be able to see the warning on the dashboard, but it will turn off the alarm sound
