Did you know the Nintendo DS dates back to 1982?
It all started with the Game & Watch Multi Screen, which was dual-screen handheld that laid the groundwork for the DS we know today! It was released with 2 LCD screens and a clamshell design, just like the modern DS.
Nintendo revisited this concept 22 years later, launching the DS in 2004. The DS took the dual-screen idea to the next level, adding touch controls and 3D graphics, but it all came from that original Game & Watch design.
Do you think we'll ever see the DS make a come back? Maybe we'll see two screens on the Switch 2!
