But something you should know before you plan to own a Beagle, because I have Beagle myself. 1. They are loud and noisy barks, because of their breeding for hunting animals that are quick and acrobatic
2. They are stubborn and often grumpy like most of the hunting breed dogs
3. If they are not properly trained (and we were warned) that they are extremely smart and can be pretty destructive if they are alone at home.... and also pretty hyperactive... so be prepared for a lot of running and physical exercise I would highly recommend for someone that love to run.
4. Be prepared for them being highly interested for hunting animals that they were bread to... they love to bark at them and they can even run away from you when you have them off leash and they smell a scent from wold animal and my god they will try to kill it and bring it to you
