I so love the new 3DS XL that I got last year, modded as well and totally love it, had a switch as well but the 3DS library has a lot of gems to enjoy

Still my favorite console of all time. So many incredible games that will be more or less forgotten because of both the eshop closure and the scarcity of many physical releases. My game collection was purchased years ago and is now worth way more than it was when I paid for these games...but I won't sell them. They're my treasures. I was always a huge fan of the 3D effect ESPECIALLY after the "new" 3DS XL was released and tweaked the 3D system to make it just so, so much better. The Switch can't hold a candle to this thing in terms of game library and innovation. I think the 3DS was way ahead of its time and could have been much more popular were it not so expensive on its initial release.

This is the EXACT Old 3DS XL that I have. Lol. I bought it years ago. Wasn't really like it at first and I neglected it for a long time, until the time when I wanted to play Dragon Quest series. I enjoy playing the Dragon Quest 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 on the 3DS XL. I modded the heck out it and so happy to find I can actually play DS games on it. Awesome!

I also have PS Vita Slim--which I also modded heavily to play Vita, PSP, PSX, GBA, and SNES games. I love and still playing them both, even now.

i bought a new 2ds xl and a new 3ds xl. 30 most popular Mario Zelda Metroid Games and I'm thrilled. plus an oled switch and my ps5 and the gaming pc gathering dust. it makes playing Nintendo games so much more fun.

3:00 The DSI Screens were IPS Screens and it has the same resolution as the original DS so DS Games look better on the DSi XL compared to the 3DSXL

I just bought a second hand 3ds XL off eBay, I was actually looking for a 2ds XL but oddly they cost considerably more second hand for some reason. Anyway, I'm happy to be getting a 3ds XL again after many years of owning 3ds games I'd like to play again.

From my experience as of today is still a totally worth it handheld console is easy to mod rather then the Nintendo switch recommend to those who are getting it

People always hate the "new" name that Nintendo gave the new generations of the 3ds. I personally think it was justified because it still is a 3DS at the end of the day what would they have renamed it to?
