I'll Be Honest: Believers Who Will Be Cast Into Hell

Believers who will be cast into Hell? Why speak in this way? It is because Scripture says there will be believers cast into Hell. Really? Yes. We have to use the language of Scripture even when it may not fit our preconceived notions and our doctrinal assumptions.

It’s not about believing ABOUT Jesus, it’s believing IN Jesus and his finished work on the cross and placing our faith and trust in Him entirely. Jesus is the founder and perfecter of our faith and what He starts, He will finish. We couldn’t even come to Jesus on our own, how much less can we keep salvation on our own? Just be sure that you are indeed in the faith though, and God bless!

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”"
‭‭John‬ ‭10:27-30‬ ‭

I think the title is very misleading and potentially damaging
It’s not true believers that put their faith in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour that will be cast into hell but people who are believers in name only.
Satan and the demons believe in Jesus.
I think that’s enough said

The verses that always get me are "depart from me I never knew you" and "I will spit you out of my mouth because you're lukewarm". I want to give Jesus ALL my heart ALL the time. I'm trying my best...

Folks take heed and make sure you dont fall into the trap of the enemies condemnation. Jesus himself said those who hear the gospel and believe will be saved..those who don't believe will be damned...there are none who will be damned who have believe in the gospel of the LordJesus Christ. Trusting that God is faithful who hath promised. It makes me sick when i hear people make these claims. Those who dont endure and continue to the end are only counterfeits..John said they didn't continue with us because they were not of us..for if they had been of us they would have continued with us..but they went out from us, that it may be made manifest they were WERE NOT OF US. The real question here that must he asked is this..have you truly repented and trusted in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross..we all have sins that easily beset us and being born again we can now stand against them. But that stand will NEVER, and i mean NEVER, absolutly NEVER ever gain us any approval from God. We fight because we are saved, not because we are trying to be saved or remain saved. Jesus himself is the author and finisher of our faith. Remember this, HE THAT BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU SHALL FINISH IT. That HE is God Almighty...so if its him in Jesus Christ who called us to walk this path, he will see to it no matter what, that we remain on it, and continue on it until the end. We are his children now

If you stumble in sin, just repent and confess it and keep fighting the good fight. Your not damned or condemned by God because you've "sinned to many times" thats Satan's doctrine to try making a person who should be living in victory feel they are damned and hated

There will be no true believers in Jesus Christ cast into hell; exactly zero. Anyone who says otherwise does not understand the gospel at all. Christ is ENOUGH!

This is one of the best illustrations of true faith I've heard. Thank you for removing any doctrinal bias from your submission and addressing this topic solely with the "entire Scripture". God bless you.

Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.

I'm always in this place... Please pray for me

All I know is if my salvation depends on me im done it over. Like Paul Washer said (I've sin enough this morning to be sent to HELL) If what Jesus did on the cross is not enough ill be going to HELL. But I believe the what Jesus did is enough and I will not look on to myself I will look onto Jesus and that is enough

Not everyone who FOLLOWS Jesus is a believer. But, all who truly believe will be saved.

Wow very well said! Reminds me of Matthew 7. I thank God that as I look back I can see how He has caused me to follow Him more and more and the world less and less. It’s been a slow process but it’s definitely happening. I pray He continues to wean me off of the world, away from sin, and closer to Him. For His glory and because I need that.

The speaker is right when he says that you can know you are saved if you have repented, but even that point needs clarifying: how do you know if you have repented? Many will look at the ongoing reality of sin and lose their assurance, asking if their repentance was truly genuine.
I'm reminded of a video by Paul Washer called 'Don't Expect a Perfect Repentance.' The key to knowing your repentance was genuine is not perfection but fruit. Can you see growth in your life? Are you desiring to see more? Is repentance itself an ongoing reality? These are the key questions to ask and they help us understand that tension between the reality of repentance and that of ongoing sin.

The Gospel itself is Salvation through faith what he forgot to mention is that once you are saved nothing can separate you from God's love that is in Romans. Every body sins it doesn't matter where you are in your faith. Pride can blind you with self righteousness without you knowing it. There are 2 truths in a Christian life the first is we still have a fallen nature in us the second is we have a new nature united with Christ. We need to be careful how we interpret scripture.
