I wish all skincare ranges offered a fragrance free option. Personally I dislike perfumed skin products (& my skin is not keen either). It annoys me when brands advertise that a product is suitable for sensitive skin & it has fragrance in it. Emma x

I dont understand why brands use fragrance in face products. If they just removed the fragrance, they would sell a lot more to a lot more people. Makes no sense really

I love Avene products, especially the Tolerance Extreme Emulsion! It doesn't irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin.

Currently loving the Avene Tolerance Extreme Emulsion thanks to your video on moisturisers for acne prone skin. Only moisturiser in years that hasn't broken me out while hydrating and moisturising my dry, prone to itchiness, cheeks!

I also have very sensitive skin and has to avoid lavender oil, rose oil and most fragrant products and also blue pigments. Then I'm just "sensitive" too most things as well. My favourite cleanser is Synchroline Rosacure gentle gel cleanser but I use the LRP tolereine cleanser when it is subzero. I love the Cicamed serum C because my skin accepts this serum without any issues. I also love the Drunk Elephant b-hydration gel as a hydrating layer. The First treatment intensive moist essence from Missha has done wonders for my skin without aggrevating it and the same goes for Paula's choice Niacinamide booster. I haven't found a HG moisturiser yet since if my skin tolerate the product then it will almost always congest my pores so I get really congested pores with acne.

I use the toleriane cleanser and the the rosaliac intense concentrate and would not be without either of these products. They have removed all traces of redness from my very sensitive reactive combination skin. Love them

Could you possibly do a video on over the counter products that are dermatologist approved and cruelty-free?
I love your content and your style by the way. xx

I quite literally could not live without La Roche-Posay's Toleriane range. My skin is super reactive and sensitive and whenever I use something other than the Toleriane cleanser or the Toleriane Ultra face cream I regret it soon after. I made the horrible mistake of using the Effaclar Foaming Cleanser (which was given to me as a free sample) and (ironically) I had the worst break outs in about 9 months! I switched back to my beloved Toleriane cleanser - my skin is not breaking out anymore and the spots I got from using the Effaclar cleanser are healing. Lesson learnt for sure. (We'll see for how long, haha)

I have struggled with acne for maybe 12 years now and with your videos Dr Sam I have finally learnt how to properly care for my skin. I also find that fragrance-free, preservative-free, non-foaming/low foaming, alcohol-free products works best for my face since I also use a lot of actives and are prone to redness. I enjoy the ordinary HA + B5 serum and their NMF cream. I also really like the Eucerine Ultra sensitive cleansing loation, Paulas choice BHA 2% liquid and resist ultra ligth super antioxidant serum
I also find it hard to find products that are fragrance-free, alcohol-free and so on in combination with barrier strenghtning and anti aging ingridients like vitamin C, E, linolic acid or licorice root or allatonin or HA.

I have extreme sensitivity (due to prolonged use of topical steroids, so it's really a very bad case), and I love the Toleriane range. I have used Toleriane Ultra for years, and I always seem to come back to it. I avoid fragrance and alcohol in skincare like the plague and I always check the ingredients for all the products I use. I also never use tap water on my face, harsh exfoliants (sometime I'll use a very mild one on my nose and chin, never on the rest of the face), no scrubs, and always wear an SPF50 that's suitable for damaged skin (which is also a rare find, unfortunately).

I LOVE the Toleriane products - and I always travel with them because my skin reacts so easily to changes in my routine and environment.  I also like their Doube Repair Moisturizer for something a little thicker, especially if I'm going to a colder climate or skiing.  And I also like the Bioderma Sensibio Light Cream, which is very helpful for redness.  Thank you Dr. Sam!

I prefer gentle yet effective products that natural and fragrant ones. Natural ones are usually full of essential oils that can be irritating. Even if we chose gentle skincare, high end makeup often smells very strongly - like Chanel which discourages me from using it. xx

I really like Bioderma Sensibio Rich cream and serum, works well and is not irritating :) Skin feels very hydrated after using.

I love those products. They don't make my face red and itchy like most skincare do. Good recommendations!

A dermatologist who had substantial experience with ethnically diverse patients told me that oily PLUS sensitive skin is very common for Asian (Korean|Japanese|Chinese) skin types. So while it may seem odd to people who only associate with other white people, it is not as weird as they may think.

I use LRP Toleraine Ultra, I also like Clinique's Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, which has a lovely light texture and feels great, however I wish they would put it in an airtight container like LRP has done. I also like the Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate and the Overnight Mask in the Clinique range.
I also avoid all fragrance, and am currently trying to find out what else I'm allergic to, which is causing eczema outbreaks on my face and neck.

I was thinking maybe dermatology nurse? but I'm clueless about possible jobs out there, thanks love your videos!

I love the Toleraine fluid, I have sensitive skin, however my skin does not react by becoming dry or flaky or red and inflamed, it just itches! So many products make me itch, so I try to stay away from fragrance even though there are some fragranced products which do not affect me in the slightest, such as Chanel foundation, it is real trial and error! ;)
