ELDEN RING MULTIPLAYER TUTORIAL: HOW TO PLAY CO-OP WITH YOUR FRIENDS

Just a quick guide on how to get the CO-OP set up for Elden Ring because my brother and I were super confused trying to figure it out ourselves at first. LOL

This tutorial shows how to summon/ join other worlds and shows where to get the required items for multiplayer.

BTW: This is assuming you picked up the Tarni'shed Furled Finger after the tutorial cave on the right side of the cylindrical stone elevator lift at the beginning of the game.

Another note:
Sometimes if your friends' summon sign is right over a grey message or right next to the Grace site, you have to switch the actions (right on DPAD)

Me and my buddy enjoy playing all kinds of co-op together, however elden ring is a little different. This game isn't really co-op more of just assistance for bosses. A big sign of that is, once you complete an area boss EI Godrick in stormveil it actually won't let you summon a friend again in the whole castle, because he was defeated.

Okay I've been trying ( over the phone ) with my friends for hours. This is more frustrating than the game itself. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or it not working.

Nothing is better than summoning a friend and realizing you cant rest at Grace's or you cant use the horse. Sucks. Then you cant go into any caves and if you do you have to re summon.

I'm having huge issues with joining or inviting friends. Note I was able and have done both in the past but recently I can't. I'm on ps4 and friend is ps5. We have same password, changed it, reset and restarted the game, went to different graces waited etc settings are all open for cross play. Yet we can't play invite or join each other anymore it's so so annoying. This system was already acting up when. We were able to join each other but now it's just broken. Looked it up and many others having the same issue, some say it's nat3 issues but again we both have nat 2 idk. He's going to get the ps4 version and see if we can

Should probably advise your viewers that the moment they go into co-op mode with someone, they will be invaded by other players constantly and these players are like level 300+ lol. So FYI if you're going to play Co-op you're in for a fight lol.

does the area matter if ur trying to summon? bc it'll only let me summon ppl in certain bonfires but others it wont?

If someone can help me it would be wonderful, because my friend and I know all this stuff but when he tries to connent into my world an error pops up on the screen saying that is not posible to stablis a connection. We are bouth on line, because we both can see it on the principal menu screen and we don't know what to do anymore. Pls help and sorry for the broken English, still lesrning
