It's a difficult feat for an actor to play a character whose putting on an act themselves. Betsy Brandt did a great job nailing the body language, tone, and speech patterns of a pathological liar.

While most people hate Marie, I felt incredibly sorry for her during this period on the show. Her husband started to treat her like crap and her sister didn't want to talk to her, so she started coping in her own weird way. Quite tragic, if you ask me.
