Why install wire ferrules on the fine stranded flexible cable entering the ceiling rose but not on the fine stranded flexible cable leaving the ceiling rose?

doing tenement ceilings, I use the a type of combi ladder that's like the Little Giant Velocity Ladder.
The ones with 4 rungs can get you to work on stuff that's 3.65m above the ground when it's folded like an 'A' frame.
Works really well for lights like this near stairs.
The selling point for me was it being able to fold right down and fit in a van.
Give it a shot if you get the chance to try one out on a job like this.

Looks like the previous electrician did a good jib because he had a small plate for the chandelier to hang on, so he couldn't make a hole for the connection box. It was probably very hard for him to get that flex through that hole?

Good stripper, but be careful if you are left-handed. There’s two part nos. I’m cack-handed but bought the normal one. Slightly less ergo than buying the correct one.
