A long season for us too. Our oldest is 22 and youngest is 1. 7 total. Society does often tell us it's a season that will be over soon. I've been in it for 20 years! So, yes instead of wishing it away and thinking it will be over soon, embrace it as life...a blessed life. ❤

I'm impressed with her cooking abilities and the fact that she has 8 children whom she takes good care of.

From Colombia, South America.
It’s beautiful to see a woman led by God.
Here I am, a 70 year old grandma, seeing your dedication to fulfill God’s plan as a wife and mother.
Father bless this family.

One question? When do you do your devotional ? Can you share one day about it ?

I was a stay at home mom most of the time when my kids were little, and then God blessed me with a job at the elementary school as a assistant when my baby was in kindergarten. I went on to finish my teaching degree as I worked and started teaching at age 47, perfect timing as my baby was 17. The other two were in college. There is no such thing as an ordinary day—days home with kids are all extraordinary!!! I love your videos! I’m retired now and about to turn 69, and I’m reconnecting with doing things naturally and more healthy. Even now with only two of us, nothing is perfect. I had a much more rigid schedule when I had three little kids, but I don’t anymore!!! I cooked from scratch then and now, but it wasn’t perfect. Bless you!

I’m sitting around waiting for my baby boy to arrive. I’m 41 + 1 today, so just trying to rest and not get too stuck on how far along we are. Love your cozy video. Baking your recipes has been my later stage pregnancy hobby!

I recently started following a few large families. One of the thing that impresses me about all, of them is how much the kids pitch in and how many life skills they have at an early age! These children are better equipped to live on their own than most of us were/are.❤

When my kids were small, I never had to sort socks, I always bought the same brand so they were all the same it saves time.

We live on 70 acres and are in the process of building our farm home (husband doing the entire thing himself since he’s a contractor ) I just went on maternity leave a couple weeks ago and we are waiting on our first son to be born any day now. I am so excited to be able to stay home with our children and enjoy home making. Your videos give me so many ideas💕

St Therese the little flower died young but had a simple philosophy of the little things being holy and impacted the church so much that she was made a Dr of the Church. Thankful that i understand now (albeit better late than never) all the little things are worship, holy, and valuable.

Lisa bravo to you and your husband Luke for following your passion of home grown foods, healthy meals, homeschooling and parenting a large family. You obviously work hard every day and you are bringing up your children to be practical, intelligent, healthy and wise. Very few people are brave enough to demonstrate this lifestyle to their children in these crazy times. Hold your head high! Rock on!!!

Truly admire the authenticity and beauty you share on this channel. Other channels struggle with capturing and honoring the simplistic but often the controlled chaos of life and children. Thank You for sharing your journey.

I know this is going to probably sound silly, but I couldn't look away from this video. Your life just looks so beautiful and simple. Not easy, but simple. I love it, I know it may not always feel like it is, and we all get stressed living in our own lives, but thank you for this video!
I sound like a crazy person, but that's okay. lol Have a blessed rest of your weekend!

I smile when you explain what you "do in a day" and then remember that you also do tons of filming and editing for YT, your blog, Instagram, etc. Your life as a wife and mother is inspirational, to say the least! You are a wonderful example of a Proverbs 31 woman Lisa and someone that young women should look up to, rather than some women they do look up to like celebrities and so on. Happy New Year and God bless everything you put your hand to!

I can’t believe how the girls are growing up. They are so beautiful, Lisa. It must be such a joy to share the kitchen with them! Looking forward to that with my own daughter some day. Happy New Year to your sweet family!

I laughed out loud when when you made your case about sweeping your mudroom. My husband and I so often say "it's like I never swept in here!" when we clean the carnage from dinner.

Your videos help remind me how important our jobs as a mom are. I’ve been doing it so long I’m getting a little burned out so I need to surround myself with other positive mothers! Thanks for being so positive about our job!
