Here in portugal is sooo diferente. I really love going to college and every year the students pay around 700€. I can’t imagine in US.
Also, I have scholarship so for my college I pay 0€ and because my school is 45km away from my family house, I have my own room in a house here and the school pays it too.
The system in portugal is to increase employability and not to have obstacles for those who want to pursue any career.

Ali is right, UK student loan is purely a graduate tax, the amount the vast majority will ever pay back is miniscule. It does not function as a debt in any way, shape or form compared to other debts.

I agree that degrees aren't for everyone but he has the finical aspects completely wrong. The difficulty for UK students is never the payback of the loan, its studying managing to study full time on the tiny amount of money the UK government provides (to cover rent, food and living costs). Purely out of touch.

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.

If you want to study medicine in a private college in India, for MBBS you have to pay around 50 Lakhs INR, for post-graduation, for subjects like radiology, the fees are 1 to 1.5 Crore INR - which most people can not afford, and can not even pay back even after getting that degree
