Former president Donald Trump has hit out at Vice President Kamala Harris during his rally at Madison Square Garden as he promised to usher in a new “golden age” of America.

The Republican presidential candidate expressed disappointment over the way the United States has been run over the past four years as he slammed Ms Harris for her “gross incompetence”.

“Over the past four years, Kamala Harris has orchestrated the most egregious betrayal that any leader in American history has ever inflicted upon our people,” Mr Trump said during the rally.
