Great video. Cleared up exactly my confusion.
The center dot is always accurate weather it’s SFP or FFP. Just the mill-radians don’t change in ratio to zoom on SFM. Sweet explanation thanks.

I probably didn’t make the right choice for my air rifle. I purchased a second focal plane as compared to a first focal plane. All my stuff is marksmanship and target shooting with the KERVAN airboss K1 25 caliber air rifle.

I purchased the I purchased the Discovery Lhd 4-16x44 sfp second focal plan. I’m shooting up to 100 yards or more. Was it a mistake to purchase this?

second focal plane has some serious advantages that get overlooked. FFP is all the rage now but it's largely groupthink.
