Medicare Supplement Plan G vs. Medicare Supplement Plan F:
Robert Bache aka Medicare Bob explains a few reasons for why Medicare Supplement Plan G offers a better value than Medicare Supplement Plan F.
• Medicare Supplement Plan G will save you money! On average, the Medicare Supplement Plan F costs around $400.00 more per year compared to the Plan G. The only difference in coverage, is that the Plan G requires Medicare beneficiaries to pay the Medicare Part B Deductible. The Medicare Part B deductible is only $166.00 for 2016. Why would you pay an insurance company $400.00 just so they pay your $166.00 deductible? This would not make sense; Medicare Supplement Plan G offers a better value than Medicare Supplement Plan F.
• Medicare Supplement Plan G can be more selective then the Medicare Supplement Plan F. In “Guarantee Issue” situations, Medicare requires carriers that offer the Plan F to accept people into the Plan with the carrier having the ability the require medical underwriting. #MedicareSupplementG #MedigapPlanG #PlanG
